The Truth Can Be Uncomfortable

Speaking anything but the truth is not an option for me. But what is the truth? Is the truth only about facts? Is the truth only what is accepted by most to be reality? Are there variations on the truth? Can truth be relative?

If a drunk driving accident is responsible for killing a child, and the drunk driver is in this country illegally, how should the accident be reported? Is the truth that the person is in the country illegally important to the reporting of this story? If you are the parent does it matter?

If the government is charged by law to protect our borders but chooses to look the other way what should be done? If our southern border is being overrun by illegals from Mexico (62% of illegals), drug runners, and a variety of unknown and possibly dangerous people, should we hold them accountable for the crimes and harm to our country?

If members of a particular political party are determined to fundamentally transform the country they have sworn to protect and uphold should they be asked how that squares with their oath of office by the people that cover them in the media? And for a political party to put business interests over the country’s interest shouldn’t we know why they are ignoring the truth?

The current immigration laws or lack of enforcement are hurting this country. It is a fact. The people that have been coming into this country illegally and legally in some cases are no longer coming here for the American Dream. The majority are coming here to take advantage of the benefits we have and to take advantage of the wealth producers in this nation.  Immigration should be halted until we can analyze the net effects on our culture and economy. A study done by the Federation for American Immigration Reform finds Illegal Immigration costs Americans $113 Billion dollars a year (http://www.fairus.org/site/DocServer/USCostStudy_2010.pdf?docID=4921;security=1601&news_iv_ctrl=1761  ). This is the net cost after adjusting for the taxes and economic activity created by illegals. That’s a $1000 a year per head of household. They also found most illegal aliens don’t pay federal income taxes and if they do they get it back in their tax returns. The criminal costs are astronomical.

These are not the type of immigrants that should be welcome in America.

The reason politicians focus on the children of immigrants is because as Americans we have a soft spot for children and pets by the way. So it is no surprise shifty politicians play those strings. But these children are not a justification for destroying our children’s future. It is a straw man argument.

So why are politicians working against the people they represent and for the people that don’t belong here? The answer: One of the political parties is looking for voters to remain in power and the other group is looking to provide cheap labor to their constituents.

Truth be told, we need to have a truthful conversation about immigration and the effects on our children’s future and we must hold representatives accountable that vote against our interests. It is our children that deserve what this country offers. It may be uncomfortable to see the children of other nations to suffer but not at the peril of our children.

The Answer is Not Immigration

We have 40% of young Americans out of work. The numbers are even higher in the inner city minority communities. And still the Chamber of Commerce and big businesses lobby keep pushing to legalize 12 – 20 million low skilled workers. I don’t get it?

I understand the arguments for highly educated engineer graduates and specialty degrees that are hard to find in general, but even then I am not sympathetic to allowing businesses to undermine the American engineer simply because they must pay a higher wage. There is an inherent cost in being an American company, and part of that is utilizing the people that are citizens. You might argue that these businesses will pack up and move to another country and I say it is their choice, but there should be an even higher price to pay to get access into our consumer markets if that becomes the case. I am not a “protectionist” I am a pragmatist.

I want to focus today on the low skilled workers that have been flooding America through our southern border. A majority of them are Mexicans. Let me premise that I believe Mexicans can be very industrious workers but so can our inner city and teenage youth if given the chance.

I have not run the numbers but I suspect if businesses that need entry level, low skilled, agricultural workers spent more time recruiting and looking at ways to make their work more attractive, instead of sending money to lobbyists in Washington, we could solve 2 problems; low skilled, entry level unemployment and filling a need for workers to do those jobs.

The American system and the natural resources of this country are what make the opportunity to succeed so likely. The American spirit and work ethic, combined with these attributes makes it a powerful combination. If American companies, especially those pushing for this harmful immigration legislation would spend some time looking at the alternative of recruiting American youths they may find many willing soldiers for their cause.

I don’t believe that the youths of America are too far gone to take a chance on giving them an opportunity to work. The American business community is the most creative in the world and I think there is an answer to their need for workers and the youth unemployment rate and it is not letting people who came here illegally to receive amnesty.

The answer lies in America, Americans, and American ingenuity. The answer does not lie in this attempt to legalize illegals; it lies in our inner cities and the youth of America…

We’re Not Stupid

There are ads running on every conservative news outlets on both radio and television. They are sponsored by a group called the conservative movement for immigration progress or some other such nonsense. They feature clips of Senator Rubio, Congressman Paul saying how our immigration policy is broken. These ads are funded by the left. They talk about how this new immigration bill is going to fix immigration but it has the same border provisions as the current law.

These ads will not work for one reason: conservatives are much smarter and have a healthy skepticism of government and the media than the left does. Conservatives don’t fall for the emotional arguments like the sappy left. You have to have facts to back up your case if you want to convince conservatives to support your position.

The argument comes down to one issue: the border. The border must be secured. Marco Rubio says what we have is not working but why is it not working? Because the federal government refuses to secure the border as the law requires. So why would a new law with the same border provision be enforced this time? Conservatives and every thinking American knows that the border will not be secured and the new law will be enforced the same way the current law is enforced; not! It will be another free for all stealing the jobs from our youth, low skilled Americans, and giving our hard earned tax dollars to people that have broken the laws of this land.

I guess the good news is that the left is throwing money away that could have been used on their more gullible constituents for the 2014 election. I have a message to the left: We are not stupid like the people you normally try to persuade with this garbage…

Constitutional Rights?

The President of the United States just broke the law by granting amnesty via Executive Order. The left wing radicals of this country have a very interesting view of the constitution. The ignore it when they don’t like the restraints it imposes, and they embrace it when it serves their purposes. Here is the most recent example.

The president ignored the congressional vote against the Dream Act which basically granted amnesty to illegal people that came to this country by illegal means. In an unconstitutional effort to garner votes from his base the president illegally ran an end run around congress and with the stroke of a pen and by fiat decided 800,000 illegal people can now stay in this country and take jobs and benefits from our citizens. He is a disgrace and must be defeated and every Executive Order reversed by a new president. If this congress was doing its job impeachment proceeding would already be beginning.

In the next breath, the democrats and this current radical administration are suing Joe Arpaio, Sheriff in the state of Arizona for enforcing immigration law and arresting illegal people in this country that are breaking additional laws. The grounds for this federal lawsuit against the Sheriff? The Sheriff is infringing on these people’s “constitutional rights.”

Constitutional rights? You can’t have a president and left wing radical democratic party ignore the constitution letting illegal’s stay in this country, and then try to keep law enforcement from doing their job on the grounds they are undermining individual constitutional rights. Which is it? Do we obey the laws of the land or do we ignore the laws of the land? What about the rights of American citizens to have safe borders and a government that enforces the laws of the land? Where are our constitutional rights?

This President and every democrat in Congress must be defeated. For the sake of our country we need to revolt and throw out every law breaking politician that allows this action to continue…

The Definition of America…

We are “not defined by our borders” according to the president of the United States, and we should stand together, face the future together, work together, with Mexico. What does this mean exactly?

If we are not defined by our borders, what defines our country and its resources? What is a border? One definition is “The line or frontier area separating political divisions or geographic regions; a boundary.” Are there no longer any boundaries, geographic areas, or political differences between the United States and Mexico? It may seem so by the way our federal government treats border security, but our constitution is clear in our “boundaries”.

We are Americans because we live within a particular geographic region, share a common law called the constitution, and believe that private property is a foundation of a free society. This president apparently believes in none of it. Words have meaning, and when a president chooses his words he does so with a calculated strategy toward his vision for the future.

Are we going to abandon our borders and constitutional government? Are we going to abandon every principle that has made America great?

I am a proud American that knows this is the last hope for a civilized world that respects borders, language, law, individuals, property, and culture. This president or the wishes of any country including Mexico cannot wave a wand and determine what defines America. America has a definition and it includes, government of the people, by the people, and for the people of the United States; we respectfully disagree with your assessment Mr. President…

Arizona, Texas, and Colorado…

The United States Constitution’s tenth amendment states “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." According to the constitution the responsibility of immigration lies with the federal government. It is one of the eighteen enumerated powers clearly stated, and as the tenth amendment clearly states, the rest of the responsibility lies within the state and with the people. What you are witnessing in Arizona is the state taking control of their responsibility and stepping up by implementing laws to protect their citizens.

Texas is about to consider a similar law to curb illegal activity by people in the state illegally, and if elected Governor Colorado I will support the same law here. It is standard procedure by most law enforcement agencies to ask for ID when a suspect is detained. Whether it is a traffic violation, assault, robbery, or any other crime, ID is the first step in indentifying a perpetrator. This new law in Arizona simply gives the local law enforcement the authority to address illegal’s instead of handing them over to the federal government. A federal government unwilling to enforce the immigration law. States must now take deportation into their own hands.

Gang activity, drugs, and kidnapping are overtaking parts of Arizona, and Texas. As a civilized society we must maintain civility through law. We can no longer allow the lawlessness of illegal entry into this country. If the federal government refuses to do their part in enforcing the laws the states must take action. It is that simple.

This is not about racial profiling; this is about securing a civil society for the law abiding citizens of the United States of America. No police officer has been given authority to just pull people over for no reason. They have finally been given the authority to enforce the law, a law that is blind to the race, religion, or gender of the law breaker. No matter what the radical left says or the lies about the law we are currently hearing from the president and his administration, this is not about racial profiling, it is about enforcing the law of the land.

We must stand by the Constitution and the right of the state’s and individuals in those states to a society free from lawlessness…

It’s a Failure to Educate; Stupid!

The entire healthcare debate revolves around the loosely defined number of uninsured individuals. The number being thrown around is 47 million. When those numbers are analyzed there are a number of facts that are conveniently ignored when this figure is discussed. A third, approximately 17 million are people in this country illegally. Over 40 percent could afford it but choose not to buy it because they are young and single. The real number of people that want but can’t afford health insurance is more like 14 million.

These individuals that can’t afford insurance fall into the category of high school dropouts, single mothers, and the under educated that can’t find work due to their educational background. The issue is not healthcare rather it is an education and immigration policy problem.

The education system has been controlled by the government and is an abject failure at educating our most vulnerable citizens. Our immigration policy no longer focuses on deciding entry into the US based on the needs for labor and desire to assimilate; rather it has become a jump over the fence and turn our back policy combined with a system based on politically correct country quotas. Immigration is run by who? Oh that’s right, government.

So for most Americans, 84% have adequate insurance and like their own healthcare options. The government that has run our education and immigration system wants to do to healthcare what they have done for the above two programs. How does that make sense?

If we unleashed the education system in this country to support parents and tie the funding directly to the child and most important; untie the federal strings that are attached, we could solve most issues we have today. Actually we should close the federal DOE and send the 90 BILLION dollars that run through the agency back to the states and parents to support local education efforts.

There are a lot of very creative and entrepreneurial education efforts going on right now. But we need to allow every parent the option to use one of these creative programs by getting government out of education. Education is the most fundamental principle to a successful life. Why do you think we have so many failing? Because it has the government tentacles all throughout the system. If we want to solve the issues of poverty, health, and create happiness; it’s taking back the education system; stupid!

Absolut Boycott; Now…

Whoever came up with this ad campaign has made a very strategic mistake. If the strategy was to sell more Vodka in Mexico the ad will work but if the ad campaign was expected to sell more vodka overall; it failed. I don’t drink vodka but I will remind everyone that does, not to drink Absolut.

The map that is depicted in the ad shows the states of California, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona, as part of Mexico. The ad is an effort to bring “pride” to Mexico. That is a lofty goal because if you look at what Mexico’s greatest exports are, drugs, illegal labor, and poverty; creating a sense of pride will take more than a Vodka ad. Americans are very sensitive to the radicals that believe the Southwest is Mexico’s, and this ad fuels those fears and unlocks pent up emotions.

They have under estimated how powerful Americans are when they unite around a cause. We will fight to the death for our country. With the sensitivity to the illegal immigration debate, this ad was a very poor choice. Just a thought…

Illegal Immigrant’s rejoice!

It was a great night if you are an illegal in this country! McCain is for amnesty and the democrats, well, they could care less about our border or security. So from a presidential perspective, illegals will have a friend in the White House if McCain ends up with the nomination.

It may be me, but when I read this story about illegal’s getting tax rebates from this “stimulus” package, I almost busted an artery! This economic downturn is a result of lending money to people that couldn’t afford to pay it back; it is not about consumer spending overall. And by the way, the top 10% of wage earners are responsible for 40% of consumer spending anyway. I have been saying all along, cut tax rates for the people that pay them, and particularly our small business and corporate payroll taxes. That is where we need “stimulus”.

Illegal immigrants do not deserve a rebate and neither do the people that don’t pay taxes; that is welfare. I am sick of this pandering class of politicians that believe the government has a role in every nook and cranny of our lives.

So conservative’s better wake up and unite around Romney if we have any hope of stopping the McCain train. Huckabee needs to get out of the way and stop the ego trip. This is not a personality contest. We need an economic literate in the White House that has a chance to win in the general election. Not another pro government socialist. It is time to get back to our founding roots, and stand up for what has made this country great; individual opportunity and ingenuity. Just a thought…

It’s Illegal Immigration Stup…

Last night was interesting. Some general observations:

· It is amazing how Bill and Hill try to create their own reality as if they didn’t end up in third place. There is a Santa Clause! I didn’t realize how satisfying it would be to see a Clinton lose! My son Taylor pointed out how Bill’s face looked like a tomato compared to the others on stage. We nicknamed him Bob from the veggie tales character Bob the tomato. See politics can be fun for the entire family!

John Edwards is a phony and I am sick of hearing about his "Mill Town" childhood. His house is 26,000 square feet which is probably bigger than the mill. (I do like his wife though)

· Obama proved that we are a colorblind society when the messenger does not play the race card. Mostly white Iowa democrats had no issue voting for a black American. Awesome!

· Mitt is a classy guy and as the economic and illegal immigration debate intensifies, Mitt will be the choice.

· Huckabee is a great orator but something about him feels wrong to me. Not to mention how lenient he has been with felons who commit murder and his promotion in Arkansas of tax payer support for illegal immigrants.

· McCain I did not see. Nor Thompson.

Note: Yesterday Kay Bailey Hutchison put in an amendment to a bill that would gut the 2006 border fence bill that was passed with great expectations from the American people. Didn’t hear about that in the media. Hmmm? President Bush and the other republicans are very quiet on the issue. This is an outrage and she is a TRAITOR of the American people. This is an outrage!!!

Huckabee = Increased Illegal Immigration

Michelle Malkin points out the true Mike Hackabee, and he is just like the others that do not understand the American people’s desire to secure our borders. He is smooth talking, and I have to say he can say the right things with a tinge of humor, but buyer beware. His true actions as Governor are ones I would not support. He is a big government guy with a place in his heart for illegal immigrants, at the same time turning his back on American families. He supported the “Dream Act” which forces American parents to pay for the subsidies for illegal’s to go to in-state colleges.

He is open borders just like George Bush. So if you think George Bush has done a good job on the border, you will love Mike Huckabee. I know people can change over time, but not enough time has passed. We have Mitt and Fred to choose from now if the borders matter to you. They do for me. We will see what the rest of America thinks soon enough…

This is Not Immigration, It’s An Invasion!

Immigration, both legal and illegal reached 37.9 MILLION in 2007! One in three is estimated to be illegal. If I am doing the math correctly that is 12 MILLION illegal’s in 2007 alone.

"The last seven years have been the highest period of immigration in American
history," the report said. "Immigrants and their young children (under 18) now
account for one-fifth of the school-age population, one-fourth of those in
poverty and nearly one-third of those without health insurance."
Immigration
accounts for nearly all of the national increase in public school enrollment
over the past two decades, the report said. In 2007, there were 10.8 million
school-age children from immigrant families in the United States — about one in
five of the nation's school-age kids.

No wonder our schools are not improving. When you have this many kids that can’t speak English or have come from countries where education is as poor as Mexico’s, how does this impact the citizens of our country that have no choice but to educate their kids in these schools? Not to mention the costs to the taxpayers. That is why tracking the immigrants’ coming to this country is so important. The system is being overwhelmed by the number of uneducated people entering the country. I ask you; if your kid’s school was falling behind because of this issue, would you accept it, or change it? If they were showing up in the ritzy suburbs of NY or LA instead of the poor sections of the country, would the response be different?

We will sink under the weight of this failure to secure our border. This is an invasion that needs the resources of the US Military. We need to station our Military on the border until the fence is complete. Using the military on the border is justified because we are under invasion from, terrorists, drug cartels, criminals, all from foreign countries. The expense is minimal compared to the costs of our education systems, healthcare systems, and our freedom.

It is time to stop pandering to the liberal interest groups that believe that our nation’s borders are discriminatory. We are one nation under God, unless we can’t protect our border. Without a border there is no nation. God is already under assault and being removed from our culture. When will we wake up? God help us…

Terrorists Target Military Base and No One Seems to Care…

This story received scant coverage in the major media for two reasons; the mainstream media knows these stories hurt democratic and liberal candidates, and it highlights the extreme danger we face every day from our lack of enforcement on the southern border with Mexico.

This terrorist plot was revealed from sources in a Mexican drug cartel and is considered credible. It reveals how dangerous the job of border security is and reveals the failures of the Bush administration and our congress to take this issue seriously. There is a war on our southern border and the stakes are high. We have drugs and terrorists crossing with sophisticated weapons and we go about our merry business without even a flinch of the eye.

As many border security advocates have been stating; our southern border is a military zone and needs the attention we would give to it if we found out tomorrow Chinese troops were crossing the border, and holding the citizens of Laredo Texas captive. The people crossing our border are not just coming to pick our crops and steal our jobs; we have terrorists and drug cartels hauling in weapons to attack our military bases and security personnel. The targeted base in Arizona trains our men and women in counter terrorism, and is a high value target for any terrorist organization or anti American group to take down.

As we are being attacked from the border, at the same time we have our financial institutions mis-managing our finances and reaching out to Middle Eastern oil rich countries to bail them out from their stupid decisions. Here is an excerpt from the story;

“Citigroup Inc., the biggest U.S. bank by assets, will receive a $7.5 billion cash infusion from Abu Dhabi to replenish capital after record mortgage losses wiped out almost half its market value”.

Why is Citigroup in trouble? Because they lent money to people that they shouldn’t have. They gave out interest only loans like candy for the past 4 years and now they are in a situation where these people can’t pay back the money. Surprise, surprise, you don’t need a Harvard business degree to see the problem with the current subprime market crisis. People were “encouraged” to borrow money they couldn’t afford, and now these banks are scrambling to keep the entire capital market from going belly up. So because of their greed and stupidity, we are being leveraged by countries that one day, mark my words, will have influence on our policy that will not be good for us. Just like the Chinese government, where we should be cutting off trade because of their human, and environmental policies, we can’t because they hold so much of our debt. Our debt is the product of greedy companies and stupid politicians.

So as we head into this holiday shopping season, keep in mind how being debt free is really the core of your personal freedom. When you owe people nothing, you control your destiny. When you are mortgaged to the hilt, you control nothing. Don’t do what our politicians and business leaders have done to this country; spend wisely and keep an eye out for the terrorists amongst us. Someone has to…

Day of Reckoning?

Pat Buchanan has a new book out, Day of Reckoning: “How Hubris, Ideology and Greed Are Tearing America Apart”. I am not so pessimistic because I believe when we decide to come together as a nation, anything is possible. We have proved that many times in our short history as a nation. The problem is most Americans are not as convinced it is at the breaking point, yet. Americans can sense it is close but I don’t believe most of us have given up as Pat suggests. When we have to argue that English should be our national language, and that it is OK to have a moment of silence, or God forbid a prayer at a HS football game, or that building a fence is not “racist”, our collective head looks up and says; what has happened here?

I believe we are at a point where more Americans are taking notice and that is a good thing. The most recent example was the illegal immigration debate. Our reluctance to accept the answer from our politicians, showed how we still control the power to influence the direction of this country. We stopped that legislation and we are slowly getting our border fence built.

I think the country is also ready to entertain term limits. Americans have seen how longevity in office is directly correlated to a lack of understanding of the people they represent. These “career” politicians are more endeared to the lobbyists than the voters. We are ready to give others a chance since the quality of the current political crop has fallen to the barely acceptable category of performance.

Pat makes a lot of great points in his book about how we are on some dangerous paths in this country but I disagree that it is inevitable we will destroy ourselves. When the people do wake up, and I believe 2008 will see this awakening, we as voters will make the corrections needed to turn this country around. Our politicians have forgotten what made America great but we the people haven’t. We want our country back and we are going to get it; one way or the other.

I see a bright future because I believe we still have a majority of people that hold traditional American values. They will vote in 2008 and we will see a huge change and it will be for the better; I hope…

Amnesty for all Illegal’s over one good deed?

So there you have it (Illegal Immigrant Rescues Boy in Desert). One good deed by an illegal immigrant and we should just let them all in! It doesn’t matter that 20% of our prisoners are illegal immigrants, or that hundreds of innocent citizens are run down by drunken driving illegal immigrants, or our healthcare and education systems are sinking under the weight of illegal immigration, or that 90% of the drugs in our country cross our southern border; no, let’s forgive all because of this one good deed. Open the gates and stop the fences!

Funny how this one incident is touted but the thousands of true disturbing stories of the impact of illegal’s are buried. It is nice that this guy stood by with this kid until help arrived. He deserves thanks and sent right back to Mexico…

In other news; Democrats are really the party of the rich… This story tells you who the democrats really work for and it isn’t the “working poor” (neither are the republicans by the way; and giving away "stuff' doesn't help. Remember Jesus; teach them to fish...). That is just their battle cry to hide the fact that they are both the party of the rich. I hate class warfare but I couldn’t help posting this when I saw the story. The opportunities in this country give us hope we too can pursue our passion. After all, that is how most people become “rich”. And money is not the only criteria for being rich. I am a millionaire in my eyes because I have my health, an awesome family and group of friends, and endless opportunity.

You may be rich as well. Look around, you might be surprised. Just a couple of thoughts…

America 1 (Won) – Spitzer 0

The governor of NY, Elliot Spitzer who recently was pushing to give illegal’s drivers licenses, has gone down in flames, utterly defeated, shown the exit, and has heard the wrath of the people. He said he didn’t “need a stethoscope to hear the pulse of NY” on this issue. No kidding! Even in the liberal leaning state of NY, people understand the issue of illegal immigration. They want it stopped and they want it fixed. Giving criminal’s driver’s licenses is not the way to fix it.

I can’t wait for Hillary’s response. She is on the ropes and the other democratic presidential hopefuls can smell the blood. It will be interesting to see if Barack the “I can’t pledge allegiance to America” or “put my hand over my heart during the national anthem” Obama, can capitalize on this issue. It is becoming so clear who these democratic candidates are, and this is good news for America. America needs to know, the current crop of democrats in power is a dangerous group of people to have in power at this time in our history.

There is one point I agree with Spitzer on, and that is his criticism of the federal government ignoring the illegal immigration issue, and leaving it to the states to handle. President Bush has failed in this area. He is an open borders supporter, and he is lucky he is not on the ballot again this year.

But today we celebrate another victory for America, all of us, rank and file democrats, republicans, and independents. They will be back to try again so we must keep our radar on and continue to defeat this lunacy when we see it. This is a critical issue in the upcoming presidential campaign along with National Security, and I believe they go hand in hand. If we as a people could unite on Social Security reform, and reduced government intervention in our lives, like we have on illegal immigration, we’d be on to something here. Just a thought…

Governor Spitzer; Do You Think We're Stupid?

Is it too much to ask citizens of this country to have a valid driver’s license? How did it get to the point that needing an ID to operate a vehicle or to vote is an infringement on civil liberties? It defies logic to me. This issue has come to a head in NY where the Governor wants the people in the state of NY and this country illegally, to have the same ID citizens have. Make sense? Of course not, but you have to ask; what is the true motive here?

Is it really to make our roads safer as the Governor suggests? Or is it a more sinister motive of buying votes and creating this “New World Order” that the elites in our country want to move toward? Fortunately the plan has not survived because if it did, New Yorker’s would no longer be able to use their driver’s license as legitimate ID outside of NY. The airlines would have to request a passport or other type of legitimate ID because under the original plan, illegal’s would have the same ID as law abiding citizens.

Now there will be 3 levels of driver’s licenses available in NY, one “super secure” for legitimate citizens, a second tier for “not so super secure”, and one for illegal’s. That’s much simpler than one license for citizen’s period. Leave it to the government to make the process more efficient and simplified. It is programs like this where I wonder; why we don’t have the government running everything we need, like healthcare? It would be so much more efficient to have bureaucrats instead of business people running everything. Don’t you agree?

The good thing here is that illegal’s will not come forward anyway because now you have basically set up a program to identify those illegally living in NY. For example; a cop pulls over a person for speeding and asks for their license. They provide the one stamped with the big ILLEGAL CITIZEN sticker on it and the officer says, come with me. He puts them on a bus back to their country and we have one less illegal in NY and our country. Actually this would be a good idea if the illegal’s were as stupid as the Governor of NY thinks we are! Just a thought…

President Bush; why?

I have been trying my best to find some positive remaining characteristics of George Bush but he makes it harder every day. I am down to the war on terror. As far as illegal immigration goes, he has never been given a chance here. I know fundamentally, as do millions of Americans, that illegal immigration is bad for America in so many ways. I basically left the Republican Party because of the lack of judgment and conviction the party leaders have for our country today. But I was trying to be respectful and objective when discussing the president.

But any glimmer of respect I had is gone. Don’t expect me to become a Bush basher, that will most likely not happen, but I am outraged at his attempt to overturn a death sentence of an illegal alien that brutally raped and murdered two teenage Texas girls (American citizens). His excuse is he does not want to “strain” Mexican American relations. News to George Bush, they are strained already. We don’t want Mexico’s criminals, poor, undereducated, or skilled without going through the proper channels first. We are sick and tired of being called names for putting America first in our foreign policy strategy. I don’t give a rat_ a_ _ about what Mexico or any other country thinks of us. We know who we are and we are good!

Ask the parents of the teenage girls that were murdered by this illegal about the importance of our foreign policy with Mexico. I bet they would help build the wall to keep this scum out. I am and will never be for a “New World Order”. It doesn’t work and it never will unless it is done through force. And don’t be surprised when we keep catching them using these stealth tactics that they may end up turning to force, most likely political force. But be protective of your rights from speech to who we can elect.

Wake up folks. It is not just George Bush, it is the democrat and republican elites that want to undermine the US. Wake up and start kicking these bums out. They think they know better than us. They believe these murders, and believe me there are hundreds if not thousands tied to illegals, are just a price to pay to reach their vision of breaking down our national identity.

George Bush; shame on you for undermining this great nation, and shame on everyone that can’t see the threat of open borders to our future survival. We can’t allow the coddling of cold blooded killers in the name of improved foreign policy. This makes me sick…

Sold Out Again by The "Political Class"

This is why I am so angry at the Republican Party and the president in general. First the incumbent politicians do their best to undermine this nation by promoting amnesty to illegal aliens, make it nearly impossible for officers to stop illegal's at our borders, and now we are going to let Mexican trucks litter our streets and threaten our family’s out for a Sunday drive. I am so done with the political class selling out our small business men and women with the promise of cheaper goods, and their willingness to keep putting our national identity and security in the back seat of their agendas.

The promise of cheaper goods rings hollow for me; we have had illegal workers building our homes for years, and as far as I have seen, the prices continue to rise with the median being around $225,000. The only affect that is apparent is the number of Americans that can make a decent living in the trades, and the quality of the work continues to plummet.

I have had a Commercial Drivers License (truck license to drive tractor trailers) for most of my adult life. I just recently let it expire since I haven’t used it in 10 years, but I know trucks and the trucking business. This is a recipe for disaster. It will be a disaster for the innocent family that is killed by a Mexican driver, over worked, under paid, driving a hazardous vehicle on our highways that we pay taxes on, speeding with brakes that are not properly adjusted, and bald tires. Call me skeptical but I have seen the trouble it has taken to clean up American trucking companies. Now we have to deal with Mexican companies. Give me a break!

They will tell you that they will have to meet certain safety requirements but I will bet my bottom dollar, just like the immigration laws, these laws for trucks will be ignored as well. In addition, just think of the number of illegal’s that can be smuggled here in the back of trucks that go uninspected. This is a boondoggle.

This is not free trade; this is another step toward open borders. It is being disguised as trade but it is a sellout of the American people. Spit on this administration for selling out our countries small trucking business men and women and the blood will be on their hands when the stories start appearing in the newspapers about Mexican truckers killing our citizens on the highways of America. They will be right next to the thousands of stories of illegal’s killing our students in Newark, and all across this nation, because this administration has turned its back on our borders and us; the American people!
